Varna city

Where can you spend your time here in his lovely seaside city?
You can visit the town or the beach and have fun at either, bearing in mind that there are a lot of restaurants and cafes in the city or on the shore. At night you can walk through the main pedestrian zone down on the sea to enjoy life in the night clubs and bars.
Eating out is a joy and prices are cheap! A huge slice of of pizza is about 1,5levs or 0,8 Euro's, a beer starts from less than 1 Euro or approximately 2 levs and the price for a coffee is about 0,5 Euro cents or 1 leva!

You have to taste a huge plate of the deep fried fish called “ tsatsa” (sprat) with a cold beer, which can cost together approximatelly 3 Euros depending on the kind of restaurant. If you choose a more luxurious restaurant or cafe the price would of course be higher but still be cheaper than meals at home.
To be a honorary Bulgarian you must taste a typical “shopska” salad (around 1-2 euros) and to eat it drinking “rakia”, the Bulgarian National spirit. The prices for a glass of “ rakia” start from approximately 2 Euros. We personaly recommend you start with something like “ Slivenska perla” or “Pomoriiska muskatova”. The wines in Bulgaria are a revelation and at around 6-8 euro's, a good wine can be drunk with a „kaizer pastyrma” or „ sudjuk” meat dish. We do recommend you not to overdo it and taste everything at once and in one night, because on the next day you will have a huge „mahmurluk”, your first Bulgarian hang over!
After that you can visit some of the summer shows choosing the kind of music which you prefer, and maybe the restauraunt you have chosen has a floor show or band?

You can at the end of your evening catch one of the many taxis in town to take you back to your hotel.
Here's a hint....If you are going to use a taxi driver, please ask a Bulgarian, from the hotel or similar, to write you the name of your hotel and the street, in case you forget where you are going  and of course to write it for you in Bulgarian. Maybe you could write it also so you know how to pronounce it?
